English Study Workshop is a Cambridge Preparation Centre that was set up in 2011. Our aim is to help students learn English for real-life communication, both written and spoken, and prepare for the official Cambridge exams.

At the heart of our approach is the belief that each student is unique and capable of achieving much more in a nurturing environment. Our small classes encourage active participation and allow us to tailor lessons to the group's needs.

We create a safe, motivating space for students to develop English fluency, overcome difficulties, and maximize strengths, ensuring they gain confidence in their language abilities.

Andrew Thompson has over 30 years of experience teaching English. By the time he founded English Study Workshop in 2011, he had already established a solid client base and a commendable reputation for helping students overcome their difficulties, achieve their objectives, and obtain their chosen qualifications.

Bridget Scanlon is a native English teacher and translator with 25 years of experience, and joined English Study Workshop in 2011. She previously worked at the IVIE (Valencian Institute of Economic Research), the British Council, and the Bristol School in Oporto, Portugal, teaching children and adults of all ages.
